Pop-Up Show, Part Songbook, All Entertaining!

Twin Cities Sings shines a spotlight on trailblazing women songwriters and the extraordinary talent of our local music scene. Hosted by the sensational Erin Schwab, this special event will feature powerhouse performances by Greta Grosch, Kate Beahen, Kym Chambers Otto, Jennifer Eckes, and Aja Parham, with a special appearance by Crooners’ own Mary T and Award-Winning Musical Director, Raymond Berg on the keys.

Expect classic hits, deep cuts, and new discoveries as these extraordinary artists bring the words and melodies of music’s most influential female pioneers to life. From Dorothy Fields to Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Dolly Parton, and beyond, this show is a love letter to the women who shaped music as we know it.

An offshoot of The Songbook Series—the acclaimed concert series created by James A. Rocco, which has toured nationally and captivated local audiences for over seven years at The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts—this intimate pop-up concert at Crooners Supper Club is a celebration of legendary female songwriters and the performer’s personal musical connections to the music that is the soundtrack to our lives.

James A. Rocco shares, “One of the things audiences have always said about The Songbook Series is it felt like a group of really talented friends, hanging out and sharing their love of music with each other and the audience.” That’s the magic we’re planning to bring to Crooners—it’ll be an intimate, joyful, soul stirring blend of music and storytelling.
